Founded upon the merging of the two Nazarene Church families that called Tyler home. We exist to further the Great Commission in making Christlike disciples in Tyler Texas and throughout the world.

World Methodist Evangelism and Church of the Nazarene (Official)

What do you think of when you hear the word "Nazarene"? In the first century, it was a regional swipe, a way to look down on where Jesus came from.

But in 1908, a group of believers reclaimed it. They wanted a global church family explicitly dedicated to the people society overlooks, fueled by the conviction that grace doesn't just forgive, it transforms.

This week, our Prayer & Fasting community is lifting up our Nazarene brothers and sisters! From humble beginnings, this movement has grown to nearly 2.8 million members across almost 30,000 congregations worldwide, with historic growth surging across Africa and South America! And 2025 marked their second straight record year for conversions.

We are grateful to have Rev. Dr. Mark Lindstrom as a member of the WME Board of Directors. Mark is a District Superintendent in the Church of the Nazarene in the United States.

Let’s unite in prayer for their pastors, their ministries, and their mission to make Christlike disciples.

Welcome, Rev Dr Cal Calendar, to the N/E Texas District!

The North/East Texas District is pleased and excited to welcome Dr. Calvary Callender (spouse: Ceresa) as our new District Superintendent! Dr. Cal was elected as the new DS on Monday, July13 at our District Assembly. He succeeds Dr. Keven Wentworth who is retiring after 52 years of ministry - the last 10 as District Superintendent. Welcome Cal, Ceresa, and family!
