Many struggle w/ presenting the gospel to people. It is not that Jesus loves them and is trying to save them. They try to present Jesus as likeable in an effort to persuade them to come get the benefits He has. There is no gospel presentation in the bible that says that.

The gospel is that Jesus IS The Christ. The Anointed by God, King of All. That's why we have The Gospel according to Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. In none of those do they say what is often passed off as "the gospel." They share Jesus to establish to their readers convincing proof that Jesus is The Christ. The King of all kings and the Lord of all lords. All should and will bow to Him. Those of us who are convinced, bow now.
