👉 Throughout the month of June, Fairwood will be highlighting new opportunities and ministries that are part of our Congregational Care initiative.

As the body of Christ, we are called to care for one another through every season of life. Whether it's offering support, building relationships, serving others, or simply being present for someone in need, Congregational Care is about living out Christ's love in practical ways.

Each week during worship, we'll introduce a different ministry or opportunity to get involved. We invite you to follow along, learn more, and discover how you can connect, serve, support, and care for others within our church family.

Together, we can continue building a community where no one walks alone. ❤️✝️

To the ONE year anniversary celebration of Mahjong Monday!!!

We apologize for the delay but this celebration need a spot on the grid.

This Fresh Expression of ministry has been successful because of the dedication of many members but especially Francie Hodges and Sheila Austin. Together they came up with this idea to offer free lessons and a place to play once a month for Tyler area residents.

Over the past year dozens of people have come to Fairwood to play mahjong, and build fellowship and friendships. They have also raised over $2,000 for the food pantry and countless non perishable items.

Do you have an idea for a possible Fresh Expression of ministry? Lets us know, we might just be celebrating more anniversaries here at Fairwood in the future!!

Help us welcome Karina to the Fairwood family! 🙌

Karina is joining Fairwood as our new summer intern. She is from Plano, Texas and attends Vanderbilt University, where she is studying Biochemistry and Religious Studies.

When she’s not studying, Karina enjoys reading, appreciating nature, and competing in triathlons 🌿📚🏊‍♀️

We are excited to have her serving alongside us this summer and can’t wait for our church family to get to know her ✝️

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸

🇺🇸 Their sacrifice reminds us of the cost of freedom and the courage it takes to protect it. We are grateful for those who laid down their lives for others and for the families who carry their legacy forward.
