THANK YOU South Spring Baptist Church for hosting Cub Pack 370 on your beautiful grounds for our Spring Campout this past weekend! The boys, families, and leaders all had a great time playing, hiking, and learning outdoor skills!

SPRING CAMPOUT IS HERE!!

We will be camping at South Spring Baptist Church this coming weekend, Friday February 20th though Sunday February 22nd.

Please note on the map: If arriving from Broadway, the yellow arrow denotes the location to leave the road and follow the wood line around the activity field to reach the entrance to the camping areas (blue star). This terrain is a bit variable on this path, so please be cautious as there has been rain recently. After unloading vehicles must be moved to the parking lot (also marked on the map).

The rough schedule is below, and the map is attached. PLEASE NOTE: Even if you're not overnight camping you can still come for any of the events during the day Saturday, and you're free to come and go as needed if you have other family events.

Arrival - Friday 3:00pm or later. Most are arriving 5:00-5:30pm, but some of the leaders will be there setting up their camps as early as 3:00pm.

Saturday activities will not start before 10:00am. There will be time for the Dens to do some specific activities, and there will be some group activities.
There will be plenty of free time for hiking, fishing (bring a pole if you have one), and playing outside on the grounds, but keep in mind there will be several other groups using the facilities on Saturday, so we'll have to stay primarily in the camping area or the trails.

Saturday night - 5:30pm flag ceremony.
6:00pm campfire.

Sunday morning - There will be a brief Sunday morning service, and then we'll depart after cleaning up the campsites.

Meals - You're on your own for all meals. Bring plenty of water! But the Pack will provide s'mores for Saturday night campfire. We recommend either eating before you arrive Friday or bringing an easy meal (or fast food) as it gets dark by 6pm.

Restrooms - There are port-a-potties near the sports fields (marked in light blue on the map). Sorry, there are no showers.

It looks to be nice weather during the day with a slight chance of rain, but it may get a little chilly at night, so prepare accordingly. Please bring yellow activity shirts for during the day and button downs (blue or khaki) for the flag ceremony. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
