Welcome Back everybody,

Thank you everyone who was able to attend this week's Welcome Meeting. We are very excited for all the new and returning families. I wanted to make a few announcements for the next few weeks:

-Monday, August 31st - Only the Webelos (4th Grade) and Arrow of Light (5th Grade) Dens will meet. Unfortunately, all other Dens will not meet.

-Monday, September 7th - No Meeting due to Labor Day.

We look forward to having everyone back Monday, September 14th.

LAKE PARTY IS COMING ON AUGUST 8TH!!

We will be having our End of Summer Lake Party August 8th from 1-4 pm at Lake Tyler (lakefront/parking lot by the Lake Tyler Marina Resort).

The address of the marina is below, and the attached screen shots show a pin dropped at our usual setup location. Look for a blue pop-up tent and people in yellow T-shirts.

Come dressed to swim! Please bring any chairs, towels and lots of sunscreen. Food, drinks, and shade will be provided. We're looking forward to seeing y'all there!!"

Attached is the tentative 2026-2027 hiking schedule. Please note: We will NOT be meeting for the August 1st hike. Details to follow regarding the September 12th hike.

But please DO JOIN US at Lake Tyler on August 8th for the end of summer LAKE PARTY!! Details will be posted and emailed soon.

HIKE AND SWIM AT TYLER STATE PARK!!!

I hope this finds you all having good summers!

Pack 370 will be going to Tyler State Park next week for a brief hike and day playing at the waterfront!! This was a lot of fun last time.

7/25/26 at 9am.

Weather permitting we will be meeting at the AREA 10 trailhead for the Whispering Pines Trail (see attached map).
After entering Tyler State Park from FM14 and getting through the gate, you'll BEAR LEFT at the first fork, and then TURN LEFT to get onto the main park loop, and then TURN LEFT again to enter Camping Area 10. Park and meet us at the trailhead. Again, this will be at 9am on 7/25/26, this coming Saturday.

Please wear closed toe shoes for hiking, and don't forget the 6 essentials! If you're swimming please bring swimwear, sunscreen, water, towels, and any snacks that you may need. Some drinks will be provided, but this is technically a BYO event. All Cub Scouts will need a parent or guardian present for swimming at the lake.

We'll see you all then!

HIKE AND SPLASH PAD CANCELED.
Unfortunately the rain and to some extent thunder have persisted. Pack 370 Hike/Splash Pad at Faulkner is canceled for today. We will try to reschedule with plenty of notice.

Summer is in full swing and it's splash pad time! We're meeting at the Faulkner Park walking trail (parking lot across from the small lake) at 10am this coming Saturday for a short hike, then heading to the splash pad! PLEASE bring closed toed shoes for the short hike, and please have your Scout wear a swim suit for the splash pad. AND... please remember your water and sunscreen! We'll see you Saturday!
