Celebrate Recovery Green Acres Baptist Church

Celebrate Recovery Green Acres Baptist Church Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered support community that meets every Monday night. Is Celebrate Recovery for Me or Someone I Know?

Celebrate Recovery is a safe place to find community and freedom from the issues that are controlling our life. Living in a broken world we all deal with life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits. No one has the ability, nor should they attempt to face their hurts on their own. Celebrate Recovery is a beautiful community of strugglers that courageously enter this safe and beautiful space to get honest ab

out our pain, and the negative ways we may see ourselves, God and others. In this process we come to accept that some of the habits we may have developed to escape our pain has caused destruction in our life and those close to us. Celebrate Recovery is a biblically balanced approach to help bring sustainable recovery and healing to our hurts. It guides us toward new healthy truths and life-giving habits as we repair our broken relationships. Join more than 7 million hurting people across the globe who now walk in freedom through the power of Jesus Christ as we walk through the 8 principles of celebrate recovery based on the Beatitudes in Matthew 5.

HERE I AM. SEND ME.

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?’
And I said, ‘Here am I. Send me!’”
Isaiah 6:8

There comes a point in recovery when it stops being only about what God is bringing you out of and starts becoming about what He wants to send you back into.

Back into the rooms to sit beside the newcomer.

Back into someone else’s mess because you remember what yours felt like.

Back into the broken places… not as the person you used to be, but as living proof of what Jesus can do.

Your hurt can become someone else’s hope.
Your testimony can become someone else’s lifeline.
Your scars can remind someone that healing is possible.

You don’t have to have it all together.
You don’t have to know all the answers.
You just have to be willing.

“Here I am, Lord. Send me.”

Maybe He’s calling you to serve.
Maybe He’s calling you to sponsor.
Maybe He’s calling you to lead.
Maybe He’s simply calling you to sit next to the person who walked through the doors terrified and remind them:

You’re not alone. Keep coming back. There is hope here.

We were never rescued just to stay comfortable.

We were rescued to go back for somebody else.

Maybe nobody knows how heavy this week was for you.

You still went to work.
You still took care of everybody.
You still smiled.
You still said, “I’m good.”

But underneath it all, you’ve been carrying something that is wearing you down.

Here’s your reminder today:

You were never meant to heal alone.

Celebrate Recovery is a place where you can take off the mask. You don’t have to have the right words. You don’t have to have everything figured out. And you definitely don’t have to “get better” before you walk through the doors.

Bring the hurt.
Bring the habit.
Bring the hang-up.
Bring the part of your story you’re still ashamed to talk about.

Jesus already knows… and He’s still calling you closer. ❤️

Recovery begins when we stop pretending we’re okay and become willing to let God and safe people into the places that hurt.

You don’t have to carry it alone anymore.

✨ A FRESH START TO A NEW WEEK ✨

You don’t have to carry last week into this one.

The mistakes.
The disappointment.
The things you wish you would’ve handled differently.
The conversations you keep replaying.
The progress you think you should’ve made by now.

Leave it there.

Recovery teaches us that we don’t have to have yesterday figured out before we can take the next right step today.

God’s mercy is new this morning. ❤️

So instead of asking, “How am I going to fix everything this week?” try asking:

“God, what is the next right thing You want me to do today?”

One day at a time.
One choice at a time.
One step at a time.

That’s how lives change.

What’s ONE thing you’re choosing to do differently this week? 👇
