Our Amazon team is home. 🙏

For a week they took the gospel village to village up the river - VBS, men's and women's ministry, and eyeglass, dental, and medical clinics - using every moment to talk with people about Jesus. One of those moments came at the eyeglass table. Here's Evan, in his own words:

"I had a woman break down sobbing as I spoke with her, and I was able to lead her to Christ right there at the eyeglass table. Funny thing is she didn't even need readers - but now she has a whole new level of sight." ❤️

That's the whole trip in one story. People came for glasses, or a checkup, or curiosity - and some of them walked away seeing everything differently.

A week on the river, by God's grace:
👓 193 pairs of glasses given out
🩺 278 seen at the medical clinic (plus 3 home visits) · 🦷 61 at the dental clinic
🎨 144 kids at VBS
🙌 114 women and 54 men reached through ministry
🏠 19 homes visited · 📖 120 Bibles given
✨ And at least 10 people surrendered their lives to Jesus.

Here are a few ways to pray:
• For the ones who met Jesus this week - that new sight would become a lifetime of following Him.
• For soft hearts in the villages that don't always welcome the team, and for the relationships built over four years of showing up in the same places.
• For the Brazilian pastors, translators, and boat crew who served right alongside our team - and for our team as they settle back home.

They're halfway up the river. 🌅

Our Amazon team left Tyler on July 24, and they've been moving ever since — a new village every day, off the boat and into whatever that day holds. Men's ministry. Women's ministry. VBS. Eyeglasses, dental, pharmacy. Then evening worship, a testimony, preaching, and a debrief back on the boat before they get up and do it again.

Some of these villages have now seen a Bethel team four years running. Four years of showing up in the same places has a way of turning strangers into people who wave you in.

Here are a few ways to pray:
• For soft hearts in the villages — the team isn't welcomed by everyone, and they've asked us to pray for this specifically
• For stamina — it's hot, it's long, and there are still days to go
• For the Brazilian pastors, translators and crew serving right alongside them

They're home Sunday. 🙏

✈️ Wheels down in Manaus! 🇧🇷

Our Amazon Outreach team has landed in Brazil — and the work is about to begin. Over the next week they'll head up the river to serve families through village evangelism, medical and dental care, and simply being the hands and feet of Jesus in Jesus' name.

Would you carry this team in prayer while they're in-country? Here are a few ways to pray:
🙏 For open doors and open hearts in every village they reach
🙏 For health, stamina, and safety through long days in the heat
🙏 For the medical and dental teams — that caring for the body would open the way to the gospel

God is on the move in Zambia. 🌍

Our team just spent time on the ground alongside our missionary Vincent and his ministry team — and the fruit is hard to take in: 92 teachers encouraged through a teachers' conference, 65 pastors strengthened through a pastors' conference, hundreds of children who heard the gospel, and 35 children and 19 teachers who gave their lives to Christ.

We get to play a small part in what God is doing through Vincent and his team. Praise Him with us — and keep them covered in prayer.

Here are a few ways to pray:
🙏 For the 35 children and 19 teachers who just met Jesus — that they'd grow deep roots in Him.
🙏 For Vincent and his ministry team as they follow up and disciple.
🙏 For the pastors and teachers carrying what they learned back to their own communities.

This amazing team will spend two weeks serving with our global mission partners at L'Arcada Christian Camp. They’ll be helping with Sports Camp—whether behind the scenes, coaching, or joining in on the action. Our team will stay at camp and get to build relationships with the incredible campers and staff there.
