Maybe the goal isn’t raising kids who never question faith…
maybe it’s raising kids who never have to recover from it.

Kids who aren’t taught fear before love.
Kids who don’t feel shame for being human.
Kids who know they’re safe to ask questions, think deeply, and be fully themselves.

That’s not rebellion.
That’s breaking cycles.

Maybe deconstructing isn’t the dangerous part.
Maybe the real harm is being taught that asking questions makes you “rebellious,” “lukewarm,” or “hard to love.”

Healthy things can handle curiosity.
Healthy faith doesn’t collapse because someone asked “why.”

A lot of us weren’t losing faith.
We were losing fear, shame, performance, and the version of God we were handed that never made room for honesty in the first place.

Questions aren’t the enemy of faith.
Silence is.

What’s one question you were told you shouldn’t ask? 👀
