Hope Haven of East Texas Hope Haven is focused on providing for the physical, emotional, educational, and spiritual needs of the girls.

Hope Haven of East Texas demonstrates Christ’s love to forgotten children and teens in foster care by providing home, healing, and hope because every child deserves to be safe and equipped for the future. It is the mission of Hope Haven of East Texas through partnerships with families, churches, and the community, to provide a safe home environment, minister the love of Christ, and equip neglected

and abused girl in foster care, to prepare them for healthy adult lives. Our goal is to provide a loving, nurturing environment where the girls will get their needs met in ways that promote their understanding that they are safe, precious and have a voice.

Today is National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day, and here at Hope Haven, we understand the importance of mental health and how trauma impacts the children and families we work with.

The significance of this day is to increase education on the impact of trauma, reduce the stigma of mental health, and to learn how positive mental health is essential to a child’s development. We are thankful for our Family Solutions team who have been trained to treat those who have been impacted by trauma. They see firsthand the effect of what these kids have gone through.

Last night was more than a dinner—it was a reminder that hope is alive and growing. Our speakers, staff, board members, donors, and volunteers are evidence of the Lord’s heart working in this organization. We are grateful to those who were a part of an Evening of Hope.
