Nordskogen Stamme Kindred has worked for years to reconstruct and adapt the ancient germanic lunisolar calendar in a way that is accessible and easy to use in our modern world. This year, just in time for Yule, we have decided to release a small number of calendars for sale to the public. The calendars are $25/ each + shipping. Comment below if you are interested and we will reach out to you.

We had a lovely winter nights ceremony weekend. Gebo was received well, and became a delicious pasty when combined with stamme member grown veggies and deer heart meat from a member's successful hunt. There were discussions on how to correctly pronounce "pasty" lol. The summer's bounty, gathered and traded for by members, was distributed by our chieftain Jim Rogers to the member families. Gods, ancestors, boasts and gratitude were spoken, culminating in a beautiful immolation.

Our Chieftain distributing our collective wild rice and honey to households in our tribe. We continue to thrive. Thanks to the gods, the land spirits, our ancestors, and our work together to do real human things close to the land.

We had a lovely Midsummer ceremony this weekend. This year is a leap year, with a 2nd summer moon, which pushed this celebration a bit later than usual. Our may pole was an ash selected by our chieftain Jim Rogers and hauled back by the men of the tribe. The men then affixed the sunwheel to the top of the pole and placed the pole in the ground. Then the women danced and decorated it with beautiful garlands. Afterwards we celebrated with a feast and held sumble in honor of the gods, spirit helpers, and ancestors. We stand as a tribe that is immeasurably grateful for the gifts we are given. Hail to the gods, hail to the ones who came before, and hail to those yet to come
