They found a chewed on pencil in an archeological dig that they DNA matched to Shakespeare. The biggest debate in the scholarly community was regarding the type of pencil it was. They aren’t sure if it 2B or not 2B.

What is absolutely sure is thst the more people dig either literally or figuratively into history and the Word of God in paper form is that it is faithful and true as God claims! Archaeologists, historians and avid Bible deniers keep proving the Bible right time and time again. God is who He says He is and we can confidently believe Him and follow him!

I bought a handgun from a T-Rex. He’s my small arms dealer.

Speaking of small arms, we celebrate the birth of Jesus our Lord and Savior. The Almighty God who holds more than just the whole world in his hand, chose to come with the tiniest arms in human form. His sacrifice for us will not be forgotten.

In the Marvel Universe Wong took over as Sorcerer Supreme from Dr. Strange. In the comics he met a sudden demise as he was bound and thrown down an elevator shaft of a skyscaper. It frustrated me as being unfair. I mean it was Wong on so many levels!!

But if anyone knows being killed unfairly … it is definitely Jesus. He came not only as a humble human baby, He knew ahead of time how He would be treated and ultimately killed. And He did it for me … and you … while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us!

Just so everyone knows … I have to apologize ahead of time for my puns. In fact my family has banned my from telling all Marvel puns in the house. It has really become a Thor subject so i have to try to keep it Loki….

(That’s a twofer … no extra charge!)

But one thing that I don’t keep low key is how grateful I am for Jesus! Here is a reminder for you. Jesus told us not to worry about tomorrow for today has enough worries of its own. Some people say He says not to worry at all. No - he just says keep it in perspective. Trust God to help you through today … or even just this moment … and then when tomorrow comes, you can trust him for that moment. I love you all!

Mary couldn’t get a traditional place to stay in Bethlehem because it must have been an all-male hotel. I think it says that there was no “womb” in the inn … so Jesus was born in a manger … it was much more “stable” conditions…

Merry Christmas friends! This is just a reminder that Jesus loves you and not only humbled Himself to come in human form - the creator in the confines of His own creation - but didn’t come in a palace or a hospital, but in a place meant for animals … the lowest of the low. If you don’t feel loved today … remember that and know I love you too!

It is a common misconception that there were three wise men who visited Jesus. In reality it was 2 wise men and a wise guy. The first two brought gold and frankincense but the third came in with a flourish and said, “But wait …. There’s Myrrh!”

Regardless of the number of wise men, they were Kings from east and it is said that power recognizes power. The wise men were acknowledging that Jesus was the one, true king and bringing him tribute! In this world of “No kings” controversy, I will simply say that Jesus is the only king I will ever bow to. And remember … He came as a baby to eventually die for you. He loves you that much!!

I am well blessed and highly favored. My name is Eric Ness and that is the most important thing about me because of who I am because of Jesus Christ. I love to laugh because if I don't, I will often cry because of my circumstances.

I went to the doctor the other day and finally found out what was wrong with me. They told me my DNA was backwards. I replied, "And?"

Sometimes we feel like that . . . we are wrong in all the wrong ways. That is why my favorite Bible verse is James 1:2-4 - "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance and, perseverance, when it has finished its work will make you mature and complete, NOT LACKING ANYTHING." - That is what I want - to not lack anything, but the journey there is promised to be rocky.
