Letter of Transition
Dear Church Family at the 29 Palms Church of the Nazarene,

After two and a half wonderful years of ministry, Mark Jones and Susan Anderson are moving on to explore new horizons. It is a healthy and professional tradition for an outgoing minister to step aside, ensuring the new leadership has the full space and support needed to flourish.

As part of this transition, please note that this specific page will eventually be retired as it is linked to my personal accounts; however, we ask that you join us in keeping Robert Valenzuela and his wife, Stella, in your constant prayers as they lead this congregation into its next great chapter.

Very soon, Susan Anderson and I will be sharing our hearts with you regarding our departure from 29 Palms Church of the Nazarene.

As many of you know, I have served as your Lay Minister and have personally created and maintained this page for over six years. Because I care deeply about the integrity of this digital community and the work we’ve done together, I will also be providing an update on the future of this page.

We value our history with each of you and want to ensure you hear the truth directly from us. Please look for our full letters in the coming days.

After leading the 29 Palms Church Of The Nazarene for two and a half years as a Lay Minister, I will be officially handing over the reins to our new Pastor ,Robert Valenzuela Feb 8,2026. Please pray for him and his wife as he takes on his new role.

Thank you everyone for attending the revival Dec,3 through Dec 5th at the 29 Palms Church Of The Nazarene. Special thanks to Dr. Norman Moore for leading it, Pastor Ray Guckenheimer from the Colton Church Of The Nazarene who's wife also plays a huge role in supporting our food ministry. Associate Pastor at the Yucca Valley Church Pastor Robert Valenzuela, special thank you also for Dara from the yucca Valley Church of the Nazarene for her musical contribution as well.
