Our mission is based on the belief that we have the responsibility to nurture each child’s development and learning style, utilizing experiences through interactions that foster a zest for life and a love of learning. ate practices that encourage young children to view themselves as capable human beings. In implementing this philosophy, we have selected teachers skilled in Child Development & the Reggio Emilia Approach to learning. The Reggio Emilia Approach is an educational philosophy focused on early year’s development, when children are forming who they are as an individual. Our unique program, which focuses on Jewish values, is based on the principles of respect, responsibility and community with a foundation that views children as competent, capable and enthusiastic to learn. Learning happens during exploration and discovery in a supportive and enriching environment based on the interests of the children through a self-guided (emergent) curriculum. Our teachers facilitate individual learning by structuring the environment so opportunities for growth are maximized. The teachers strive to help the children develop interests, passions and academic skills that form the foundation for future learning. In a nurturing environment, rich in Judaic tradition and multicultural acceptance, children gain confidence within themselves and among peers and adults.

Congregation B'nai Israel Child Development Center is growing and we are looking to hire teachers.
CBI Child Development Center is a Reggio Inspired preschool located in Tustin, California. We are growing and are looking for nurturing and passionate Infant Toddler teachers and support staff to fill several positions.

* Infant/ Toddler to work with children ages 3 months-3 years.

*Support Teacher flexible working in all classes ages ages 3 months-5 years.

*Flexible hours.

* Hourly rate depending on education and experience.

Teaching Requirements:

*15 core units in Early Childhood Education (minimum)including infant/todder

*2 Years of teaching experience preferred

*Knowledge of Reggio-Inspired Curriculum preferred

* Live Scan fingerprints

* CPR /First Aid

* Vaccinations Required: Pertussis, MMR and TB
