In our new series, James: A Faith That Works, we’ll walk through one of the most practical books in the Bible and discover what genuine faith looks like in everyday life. James challenges us to move beyond simply knowing what we believe and start living like we believe it. Throughout the series, we’ll talk about faith under pressure, faith that shows up in the way we live, faith that changes our words and relationships, and faith that keeps going when life gets difficult. Last night we kicked off our summer Bible study series, Big Words: Church Words Explained! 📖

Sometimes the words we hear in church can seem complicated or intimidating, but they’re actually some of the most beautiful truths of our faith. Together, we’re unpacking what they mean and discovering how they point us to the incredible work God has done for us through Jesus.

Our 5-week summer series, Big Words: Church Words Explained, starts tomorrow at 6:30!

Sometimes in church, we hear words that sound important, but we’re not always sure what they mean. Words like propitiation, imputation, regeneration, sanctification, and glorification. They can sound intimidating, academic, or like they belong in a theology textbook. But these words are not just for pastors, scholars, or Bible nerds. They describe some of the most beautiful truths of the Christian faith. So for five weeks, we’re going to take some of the big words Christians use and break them down in a way that is clear, biblical, and practical. Because when we understand these words, we don’t just learn bigger vocabulary. We see more clearly what God has done for us in Jesus.

Big Words. Wednesday nights. A light dinner will be provided each evening at 6:30 PM, and the study will begin at 7:00 PM.
