GOOD MORNING!
Throughout the Word of God, we find example after example of God being THE SUPPLIER! From the Old Testament to the New Testament, God has continually demonstrated His faithfulness by taking care of His people and supplying what they need.
But I think sometimes we get our needs and our wants confused.
Everything we want is not necessarily something we need. And sometimes, instead of thanking God for what He has already provided, we become frustrated because He hasn't given us what we asked for.
But have you ever considered that God saying “no” might actually be His way of providing for you?
Some of our wants could get us in trouble, in debt, out of God's will, or even connected to relationships that God never intended for us. What we think we need today, God already knows whether it will help us or hurt us tomorrow.
That's why we have to learn to TRUST THE SUPPLIER!
Philippians 4:19 declares:
“But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 4:19 KJV
Notice the Scripture says NEED, not every want.
God knows exactly what you need, when you need it, and how to provide it. His resources are unlimited, His wisdom is perfect, and His timing is always right.
So today, my prayer is changing.
Not simply, “God, I need a new car.”
Not, “God, I need a new house.”
Not even, “God, I need a new job.”
My prayer is:
“GOD, I JUST NEED JESUS!”
Because when I have Jesus, I have everything I truly need. If I have Jesus, I have peace. If I have Jesus, I have hope. If I have Jesus, I have strength. If I have Jesus, I have salvation. And I can trust Him to provide everything else according to His will for my life.
Stop worrying about what you don't have and start thanking God for what He has already supplied.
Trust God. Trust His provision. Trust His timing. And trust THE SUPPLIER!
Thank God for Jesus, and thank God for the Holy Ghost!
New Life. New Purpose. Eternal Hope.
