Where does the wounded physician, Prophet , Pastor. or Counselor go to heal?
Those who are called to heal the hearts of the hurting are not exempt from hurting themselves.
Pastors hurt.
Counselors hurt.
Leaders hurt.
Caregivers hurt.
The very people who spend their lives helping others navigate pain often find themselves silently carrying burdens no one sees.
Be kind to those who are called to cover your soul.
When you show up seeking advice, wisdom, direction, or comfort, they may be fighting battles of their own. They may be pushing through private pain while helping you survive yours. They may be encouraging others while praying for strength themselves.
Not every wound is visible.
Not every struggle is announced.
Not every tear is public.
Sometimes the strongest people in the room are the ones carrying the heaviest weight.
Pray for your pastors.
Pray for your counselors.
Pray for your mentors.
Pray for those who continually pour into others.
Because even healers need healing.
Even encouragers need encouragement.
Even those who carry others need someone willing to help carry them.
The wounded counselor still needs a place to recover
