Yesterday we enjoyed celebrating our Class of 2026 EMBC Youth Seniors with their families.
First, we want to thank our church family.
Thank you to the church members who helped make this a successful day by setting up, preparing food, serving our students and their families, cleaning up after breakfast, running all the AV components, and most importantly praying for these young men and women.
Second, we want to thank the families of our seniors.
Thank you for sharing your children with us for the past year (or their whole life in some cases). We have enjoyed getting to be a part of their journeys.
Also, a special thank you to Preston’s family for coming and being a part of the festivities. We missed our Marine not getting to be there in person but we are so glad they could still join us. He made it through The Crucible last week and now only has a couple of weeks left before he will be home.
Lastly, we want to give a special thank you to our seniors.
During your time in the youth:
- You have served. You have shown us how selfless you can be by serving your church graciously over the years, with a smile on your face and minimal complaints.
- You have adapted. When life throws you a curve ball, when plans didn’t happen, when changes had to be made, or when class was restructured, you all have showed resilience and relied on God regardless of any challenge you faced.
- Most importantly, you have grown. The spiritual growth you all have exhibited over the past 2 years has been one of the most beautiful things to see.
While serving the youth in one capacity or another, your current leaders have gotten to witness most of you proclaim salvation, rededicate your lives, make your public declarations of faith, answer the call to go and share the gospel through missions, worship the Lord with your whole hearts and hands high, as well as pray over each other through life’s challenges. We know each of us you are equipped for the things God has in-store for you. We can’t wait to see how your future walks with Christ unfold. Here’s to one last EMBC Youth summer before we kick you all out…
