Are you living for Jesus... or Jesus plus everything else? One degree off can take you somewhere you never intended to go. Your purpose isn't found in what people think of you, what social media affirms, or what the world offers. It's found when you go to the Holy Spirit and say, 'What am I supposed to do with my life?' When He speaks, that's all you need.

Paul confronted the Galatian churches who had drifted off course by listening to false teachings that promoted a "Jesus plus other things" gospel. To get them back on track, he addressed three fundamental questions every Christian must answer. First, who are you living to please - God or people? You cannot serve both masters effectively. Second, why do you believe what you believe? Our beliefs must come from Jesus through Scripture, not from culture, tradition, or social media influences. Third, where did you get your purpose? True purpose comes from the Holy Spirit, not from human validation or worldly expectations. Paul's message was clear: there's no room for "Jesus plus" living - it must be Jesus alone, or you'll gradually drift one degree at a time toward a destination you never intended to reach.

Paul's letter to the Galatians addresses a critical threat to the gospel message. False teachers called Judaizers were telling Gentile converts they needed to follow Jewish customs and laws in addition to believing in Jesus. Paul was astonished that the Galatians would abandon the simple message of grace for a complicated system of religious performance. He warns that no one has authority to change the gospel - not apostles, pastors, or even angels. The gospel remains beautifully simple: Christ alone is sufficient for salvation, transformation, and everything we need. Adding anything to Jesus changes the very nature of the gospel and leads people away from true faith.
