WE GLORIFY GOD IN EVERYTHING

Here at FBC, worship isn’t just something we do on Sundays. Because of this, our focus will be sending people to reflect God’s love and goodness in every part of their lives, every day. Next week, we’re sending a team to Denver, Colorado to do just this!

HE IS THE GATE

Jesus did not come to show us where the path is. He didn’t come to give us a “steps to success” guide or “ways to live your best life.” He came to give us HIMSELF. This is the key to the Sermon on the Mount; the only way we can live according to the way Christ has called us to live is by submitting to Him as Lord.

When we go to God, we can be confident that He hears us and that He WILL answer our prayer. How do we know that? The Bible tells us!! His Word tells us His character fully, and because of this, we can be certain that He will be faithful and will lead us well.

This past Sunday, we were challenged to love each other well. One way we can do this is by joining a life group here at First Baptist Tuscaloosa where someone has permission to speak into our lives, pointing out areas where we’re growing and areas that still need to look more like Jesus.
