Today Wednesday October 16th will complete our community relief collections for the Hurricane disasters.

Thanks to everyone for sharing this post and those that dropped off supplies and warm clothing, blankets etc.

We delivered the first full trailer load yesterday. The second trailer collection completes today at noon.

Thursday we continue our weekly West Alabama Feed America distributions ministry to area registered clients (approx 140 families per week).

Wings of Grace continues serving families outside (an average of 110 families per week for 47 weeks in the past 12 months). The clients and workers prefer the faster & safer outside distributions that started with the Covid pandemic requirements.

Covers for two outside work areas are needed to protect Clients, clothing, supplies and volunteers from the weather.

We have investigated pricing and believe the cost will be less than $12,000 after adding gutters and diverting drainages.

Wings of Grace funds designated for food purchases will not be used.

Please ask God if & what He wants You to contribute for this “Shelter need”.

UPDATE:

Wings of Grace will be open for clients both this Thursday July 21st and also next Thursday July 28th.

8:30 - 11am

We previously communicated closed on 28th but so Glad we will serve clients both the remaining Thursdays in July.

Wings of Grace was a site for Panama City donations. Here are pictures of volunteers loading supplies for Panama City on Tuesday, 11/20/18. The supplies were delivered to Pastor Coney of the Believers in Christ Ministries at Panama City on Wednesday, 11/21/18. Donations were collected from the community and Crimson Care locations. We had Holt Elementary students, Key Club and Civinettes from Northridge High School, and University of Alabama students who helped to separate adult and children’s clothing. We appreciate the Doctors from Crimson Care for initiating the response for cleaning and toiletry items to be collected at their locations.
