Summer is off to a fantastic start with Casual Eucharist—music led by Danny Whitsett, dramatic reading by Drew Baker and Paul+ without a collar. If you haven’t tried it yet, come at 5 PM on Jun 21 and then Summer Hymn Sing on Jun 28!

Danny Whitsett is known by many as a regular Music Director at Cursillo weekends. Others know him as a regular participant and music leader at summer camps. More recently for some, you may recognize Danny as the lead singer for several of our Rock ‘n Roll Eucharists.

Thank you to Stough Guild for cooking jambalaya and amazing desserts for 100 hungry Sawyerville staffers last night! Christ Church has six staffers serving this week: Dorothy Ferry, Parker and Houston Jones, Lucian McWaters, Emma Waits, and Ben Welborn.

That’s a wrap on Wilderness Escape Vacation Bible School! We had an incredible week as 60 children journeyed through the story of Exodus, learned about trusting God, and had lots of fun!

We are so grateful to our volunteers, staff, clergy, and youth leaders who made this week possible. Congratulations to our 2026 award recipients:
