🌟 Volunteer Highlight: Kayleigh Sanders 🌟

This week, we’re excited to highlight Kayleigh Sanders!

Kayleigh is a college student who gives so much of her time to serving others here at TFA. She leads our K5–2nd graders in Kids Ministry, serves as a youth leader where she helps encourage and mentor our students, serves in Sunday School, and is always willing to jump in and help with our outreaches and events.

What we love about Kayleigh is the heart she brings with her. She doesn’t just fill a spot or show up because someone needs help—she genuinely cares about the kids and students she serves. They know her, they trust her, and they know she’s in their corner.

It’s been so special for us as a church to watch Kayleigh grow into the leader she is becoming. We’re thankful for the time she gives, the relationships she’s building, and the way she continues to say “yes” when there’s an opportunity to serve.

Kayleigh, we love having you as part of the TFA family, and we’re so thankful for the difference you’re making in the next generation! ❤️

Join us for a powerful service with special guest Bob Mest, Executive Director of Alabama Adult & Teen Challenge!

Bob will be joined by ladies from the Hayden Women’s Center, who will share powerful testimonies of lives transformed through the hope and freedom found in Jesus Christ. The service will also feature impactful human videos that bring these stories of redemption to life.

We’re looking forward to a morning filled with stories of hope, restoration, freedom, and the life-changing power of Jesus!

🌟 Volunteer Highlight: Garrett Woods 🌟

This week, we’re excited to highlight Garrett Woods! Garrett serves as an adult leader in TFA Youth, where he invests in our students and is always willing to jump in wherever he’s needed.
Garrett is also someone we can count on when it comes to outreach and events. Whether he’s helping behind the scenes, serving our community, or helping make sure our church is a safe place for everyone who walks through the doors, Garrett is always ready to help.

One of the things we appreciate most about Garrett is that serving is something his whole family is a part of. We love the Woods family and are so thankful for the way they love our church and the people in it.

Garrett, thank you for being dependable, willing to serve, and for investing in the next generation. We’re grateful to have you and your family as part of TFA!

🌟 Volunteer Highlight: Rachel Robinson 🌟

This week, we’re excited to highlight Rachel Robinson! Rachel is stepping into a new role as our Prims teacher, and she brings so much creativity, talent, and heart to our kids ministry.

Rachel’s artistic abilities are truly unmatched. Whether she’s decorating a space, creating something special, or finding a way to make an ordinary moment more fun, she uses her gifts to create an environment our kids are excited to be a part of.

What we appreciate most about Rachel is how much of her love for our kids happens behind the scenes. She gives her time and talents to make sure they feel welcomed, celebrated, and loved every time they walk through the doors.

Rachel, thank you for using the gifts God has given you to invest in the next generation. We’re so thankful to have you serving our TFA kids! ❤️

IGNITE | Week 3: My Joy Is Complete

What happens when the attention shifts away from us?

In Week 3 of IGNITE, we look at John the Baptist and his response when people began leaving his ministry to follow Jesus. Instead of competing for attention or holding onto his position, John understood exactly who he was and what he had been called to do.

Through his example, we’ll see what it looks like to walk in humility, find joy in fulfilling God’s purpose, and live with a heart that desires to make Jesus greater.

⭐ VOLUNTEER HIGHLIGHT ⭐

This week, we’re highlighting David Brown!

If something is happening at TFA, there’s a pretty good chance David is somewhere in the middle of it helping out. As a student and leader in TFA Youth, David is always willing to jump in wherever he’s needed, whether that’s helping with sound and streaming, volunteering at events, serving with our youth, or just seeing something that needs to be done and doing it.

One of the things we appreciate most about David is the influence he has with the people around him. He’s not afraid to lead, encourage others, and be someone his peers can count on.

There aren’t many areas where David hasn’t jumped in to help, and we’re super thankful for the heart he has for TFA and for serving others.

David, thanks for always being willing to show up, help out, and make a difference. We appreciate you! 🙌

Repentance is more than feeling sorry—it’s a change of heart that produces a changed life.

In Week 2 of IGNITE, we continue looking at the ministry of John the Baptist and his call for God’s people to turn from sin and prepare their hearts for Jesus.

We’ll discover how true repentance involves confessing our sins, producing fruit in our lives, and ultimately bringing us to Jesus.

Join us as we examine what genuine repentance looks like and how God uses it to transform our hearts and prepare us for what He wants to do in our lives.
