Next weekend (September 24/25) College, Young and Emerging Adults are taking part in a racial reconciliation pilgrimage to Birmingham. They will visit the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, 16th Street Baptist and Kelly Ingram Park before engaging in conversations about race, reconciliation and justice - and what those mean - within our church and wider communities.

Food will be provided. If anyone would like to stay Sunday as well (this is not required) they will provide lodging Saturday night as well.

The goal of this pilgrimage is to create a space for these necessary conversations and for this to be an intentional, educational, and life-giving experience.

We’re looking forward to seeing you tomorrow! The service starts at 10, but you are welcome to join us around 9:15 to flower the cross and reflect on themes of resurrection. Feel free to bring flowers, greenery, or other emphemera representative of the spirit of renewal. The service will also be live-streamed via Facebook.
