On Wednesday nights in Soma Kids, we’re talking about talking -- talking to God! We’re helping teach kids that they can talk to God in any way, about anything, anytime, and anywhere. It’s as easy as saying, “Hey God!” By the end of the series, we want kids to know and understand what God’s Word tells us in Philippians 4:6: “Don’t worry about anything. No matter what happens, tell God about everything. Ask and pray, and give thanks to Him.”

This past Sunday, kids learned that Jesus is so powerful that walking on top of water is no big deal for Him. He can do anything! Remembering that He is powerful, that He loves us, and that He is always taking care of us helps grow peace in our hearts when we feel afraid or face hard things.
