Final Post: Day 21 of 21 Days of Fasting and Prayer
“Closing Doors”
As we conclude our corporate time of fasting and prayer, let us focus on the vital act of **renunciation**. It is essential for every believer to renounce anything that seeks to keep us in bo***ge to the enemy. This is a powerful moment of declaration and freedom!
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" — 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NIV)
Our time of fasting and prayer has hopefully developed a desire in you and I to live holy and acceptable for God. We should desire to be vessels fit for God’s use. We must be ready and available for God to send us, assign us and use us when, where and as He sees fit.
Today, as we close our fast, we focus on closing any and all doors that grant access to the enemy of our soul. As we draw closer to God and make ourselves available vessels for His use, I invite you to join me in these renunciations:
I renounce all lust, perversion, immorality, uncleanness, impurity, and sexual sin in the name of Jesus.
I renounce all witchcraft, sorcery, divination, and occult involvement in the name of Jesus.
I renounce all ungodly soul ties and immoral relationships in the name of Jesus.
I renounce all hatred, anger, resentment, revenge, retaliation, unforgiveness, and bitterness in the name of Jesus.
I forgive any person who has ever hurt me, disappointed me, abandoned me, mistreated me, or rejected me in Jesus’ name.
I renounce all addiction to drugs, alcohol, or any legal or illegal substance that has bound me in the name of Jesus.
I renounce all pride, haughtiness, arrogance, vanity, ego, disobedience, jealousy, and rebellion in the name of Jesus.
I renounce all fear, unbelief, and doubt, and all ungodly thought patterns and belief systems in the name of Jesus.
Lord, I decree this word over my life. I speak in faith and I believe that it is established. That you’ll lift your people. Bring those that are low from the dunghill and set them among princes. Thank you, Lord, for elevation, promotion and distinction. I thank you for taking me to new heights, new realms, new promotions, new honor, new places of influence. I give you praise, glory and honor that you are the God that distinguishes me. You’re the God that causes me to rise. You’re the God that raises up the humble. You’re the God that looks out for the meek. You’re the God that promotes and honors those with wisdom. I give you praise, glory and honor in Jesus’ name.
Let this final day be a declaration of our commitment to live holy and in the freedom that Christ has provided. As we renounce these chains, let us embrace the new life Jesus offers. Together, we can walk boldly in His light, free from the burdens that have held us captive.
May this renunciation empower you to step into your divine purpose with renewed strength and clarity. Amen!
