CHOIR IN THE WORLDWIDE ANGLICAN CHURCH
The Choir plays a very important role in worship in the Worldwide Anglican Church. Choir members help lead the congregation in praise, worship,prayer and spiritual reflection through music.
Roles of Choir members:
1. Leading Worship Through Music
Choir Members lead the congregation in singing hymns, psalms, and worship songs during Church services. Their singing helps the congregation participate actively in worship.
2. Preparing Special Music for Services
The Choir prepares and presents special music during:
Sunday Services
Holy Communion
Weddings
Funerals
Church feasts and celebrations
3. Supporting the Liturgy
In Worldwide Anglican Church worship, music is part of the liturgy. The Choir sings responses, chants, and hymns that accompany prayers and readings.
4. Encouraging Congregational Participation
Choir Members guide the congregation in correct melodies and rhythm so that everyone can sing together in unity.
5. Maintaining Reverence in Worship
Through disciplined singing and respectful conduct, Choir Members help create a prayerful and holy atmosphere in the Church.
6. Attending Choir Practice
Choir members regularly attend rehearsals to improve:
- Voice harmony

- Understanding of hymns and Church mumusic
