A Heart for our Neighbors

We are the country church on the hill outside Turbotville, PA, teaching traditional Christianity. The original building known as “Union Church” was built in 1898. In 1967 it became the Fairview Church of the Nazarene, rooted in the teaching of John Wesley, the founder of Methodism. Jesus Christ is the focus of our worship and our life as a church family. All ages worship together. Our informal, spontaneous atmosphere is friendly, yet orderly to keep us reverent in God’s presence. We love to sing - hymns and gospel songs, Gaither music, and contemporary music. Perhaps we are the church home you need. God loves us all, wants relationship with us, and is ready to forgive our sins. His Spirit in our lives will enable us to win battles we never thought of winning, and resist evil we never - on our own - could have resisted. As we embrace the historic Christian creeds we identity ourselves as a link of the Church Universal.
