Don’t Stop at the Surface
Luke 5:1-11

Don’t be afraid to be in the waiting room. God is preparing you for what is to come, so don’t stop at the surface. God is setting us up to sit in rooms we have never set in, but we have to be obedient to God.

Join us for morning worship service at 11 AM on Sunday.

💚💜🩷 OCTOBER IS A MONTH OF AWARENESS!

At Greater Elevation Church of God in Christ, we believe that awareness brings understanding, empowers individuals, and strengthens our families and communities!

Throughout October, we’re taking a few moments during our Sunday worship services to highlight three important issues that impact so many lives.

💚 October 11 | Mental Health Awareness
Evangelist Kimberly Bass
Licensed Professional Counselor

💜 October 18 | Domestic Violence Awareness
Ericka Hodges
Director of Advocacy, S.A.F.E., Inc.

🩷 October 25 | Breast Cancer Awareness
Arlecia Marsh
Survivor

We invite you to worship with us as we come together to learn, encourage one another, and promote awareness. Because awareness matters, and so do YOU!

Becoming Effective
St. John 15:12-19

When you are infected by Jesus Christ, you are in transition. Negativity can push you closer into the hands of God. People do not have to have anything against you to not like you. People will simply dislike you because of how you carry yourself. People want you to walk around with your head down, but lift your head with confidence. Thank you, Bishop Parks, for sharing the word on today.

Get Back in the Game
Hebrews 12:1-2

How can we remain loyal to a team through a losing season, but one difficult season with God we are done? You have to be a fan of God regardless of what is going. Stay faithful and focus on God. It is not over yet.

BUT I STILL TRUST YOU !!

09/22/2026

“Let us not get tired of doing what is right, for after a while we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t get discouraged and give up.” Galatians 6:9 (TLB)

God specializes in makeovers. He specializes in bringing dead, stagnant, and stale things to life again.

But I Still Trust Him
Psalm 13:1-6

You need God right now, more than you needed him before. Don’t pretend like everything is good in your life, when everybody has something they are going through. You got to be honest with yourself and with God. God won't heal that version of you that continues to pretend. It’s alright to need the help of God!
