From Ephesians 6:10-18
Where does the power come from?
Ephesians 6:10-18
10 “Finally, grow powerful in union with the Lord, in union with his mighty strength!
11 Use all the armor and weaponry that God provides, so that you will be able to stand against the deceptive tactics of the Adversary.
12 For we are not struggling against human beings, but against the rulers, authorities and cosmic powers governing this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm.
13 So take up every piece of war equipment God provides; so that when the evil day comes, you will be able to resist; and when the battle is won, you will still be standing.
14 Therefore, stand! Have the belt of truth buckled around your waist, put on righteousness for a breastplate,
15 and wear on your feet the readiness that comes from the Good News of shalom.
16 Always carry the shield of trust, with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the Evil One.
17 And take the helmet of deliverance; along with the sword given by the Spirit, that is, the Word of God;
18 as you pray at all times, with all kinds of prayers and requests, in the Spirit, vigilantly and persistently, for all God's people.”
This Parshah has been quoted to prepare believers for battle in the trenches of sharing the Gospel for centuries. It says in verse thirteen to put on the full armor. We’re supposed to take truth (Y’shu; John 14:6), righteousness (which is a foundation of the Throne of Adonai l’Eli; Psalm 89:14), courage (from the victory of Y’shu upon the cross and over the grave; 1 Peter 3:15-16, Galatians 6:14), Shalom (which surpasses all understanding; Philippians 4:6), trust (faith that comes from the Ruach haKodesh; 1 Corinthians 12:3), deliverance (power in us that is greater than any in the world; James 4:7), the Creation power of the Words spoken by Adonai l’Eli (John 1:1-5) and all of the above are brought to bear in our lives on the supernatural level in prayer.
Abba help us to activate all of the weapons that are necessary to fight against the forces of evil. Let the Ruach haKodesh be our voice and our readiness to follow You be our lamp post. In Y’shu, we trust your goodness to fight the spiritual warfare for us. In our weaknesses, You are perfected. Be perfected in the healing for those who are crying inside in this list and dying world. We give You thanksgiving for healing and care, in the Name of Y’shu we pray.
