James Anglican Church is a member of the Anglican Church in America Dioceses of the West, our Bishop Ordinary is Bp. We, with our sister churches, are given the mission to spread the Word of Jesus Christ; with the long-lived and beautiful liturgy of the Apostolic Faith, set down by our liturgy. We celebrate the Eucharist every Sunday, following the liturgy of the 1928 Book of Common Prayer, and si

nging praises from the hymns found in the 1940 Hymnal. Yes, these are old by today’s standards, yet they reflect the Christian faith for over two thousand years. We believe the bible to be the complete word of God, and with it all things necessary for salvation has been set forth. We try to live Jesus’ two great commandments; first, to love God with all of our hearts, with all our souls, and with all our mind, the second is like unto it; to love our neighbors as ourselves. Stop by on Sundays at 10 a.m. for Holy Communion, or visit us on Wednesday evenings for Evening Prayer at 6 p.m. or Thursday morning Prayer at 9 a.m.
