It is with deep sorrow I must announce the passing of Brother Knight Fred Crump. Fred has been an Oklahoma Knights on Bike since April 28, 2013. He has served as Oklahoma District Master, Faithful Navigator and Grand Knight. Brother Crump has been battling cancer for some time, and passed at 1:30 this afternoon. He will be greatly missed.

For Fred and all of our departed brothers:

Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord, and let the perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, Rest in Peace.

In light of recent events, I feel the need to issue a statement to clarify some of the issues at hand.
To start with, allow me to address Knights on Bikes International's decision to kick out 24 members. Over half of which are elected officers. International claims that these members “self-quit” or “self-terminated”. The honesty of it is none of these members self quit or self terminated. That’s a ludacris claim even from International.

So what was the great sin committed by these 24 rogue, dangerous brother knights that was so bad that International had to remove them? They disagreed with International. They signed their names to a document stating that they wanted change. That’s it! A legitimate motion was made as per rules and regulations yet the motion was completely disregarded and those in favor of the motion kicked to the curb and so was everyone that signed it. Is that the face of democracy? Is that what we as Knights do? I don’t remember seeing that in Robert’s Rules of Order. I do not recall that ever happening in a council, whether local or at the state level.

International is now acting like the 1%’er wannabes they truly are. There was no due process, no investigations, no phone calls. If you disagree, you’re out. Communism at its best my brothers! The epitome of cancel culture.
Freedom of speech? Not if you disagree.
Freedom of expression? Nope
Freedom to disagree? Nope

Elected officers were supposedly removed. Think about that for just a minute. Let that sink in…..KonB International feels that they have the power to override their constituents who voted these gentlemen into office. They know better than any of us do. Right?

Power. That’s what all of this really comes down to. Power, control and ego.

Over half of the men on that list are KonB USA State Presidents. Presidents of states that are recognized as official state programs by their Knights of Columbus State Council. Yet somehow International, in their thirst for power and control, feel that they can override the Knights of Columbus.

Brothers, Knights on Bikes USA has, from the beginning tried to give the power back to where it rightly belongs. To the states. As Knights on Bikes USA National President I consider myself a servant leader. I am here to serve not be served.

In May of 2021, Knights on Bikes held their rally in New Orleans, La. At the rally the membership voted to have the next rally in Branson, Mo. Now, once again, International is attempting to exert their power and control and are having another rally in Wisconsin at the same time. Once again, the will of the voting membership was ignored. The message is loud and clear: vote all you want but we will do what we want regardless of the outcome.

Brothers, we already have many states that operate as a state program under the leadership of their respective state deputies. These brothers are doing great things, accomplishing works of charity, fraternity and brotherhood on levels never seen before. One only has to look around to see the great things being done.

We don’t need politics, we don’t need elections. We need to follow Fr. McGivney’s vision and be Knights of Columbus members who ride motorcycles. Let’s do away with the hierarchy starting with myself. Let’s follow the Knights of Columbus model. Let’s replace the National president and the National Vice Presidents with an advisory committee. The purpose of the committee would be to 1) grow KonB in states where we have no presence 2) assist those states who have a membership but are not yet state programs and 3) assist any and all states in promoting who we are. Basically, what is listed in the guidelines.

Brothers, we are better than how we have been portrayed. It’s time to step up and follow the Knights of Columbus model. Please join me!!

I HAVE NOT CHANGED A WORD OF IT. PLEASE READ:
"Dear Friends in Christ,
As I'm sure you all know, the secular press has recently claimed that the Pope, in his
soon-to-be-released documentary "Francesco" (Oct.25), is endorsing same s*x marriages. This is
false. The secular press, for quite some time now, has earned the rep of taking one-liners from
the Pope and casting on them a different light than that which, when understood in the broader
context of his message, he intends to say. The public has not seen the documentary, "Francesco,"
as it has not yet been made available to it. Until the documentary is made available, it is
imprudent for one to quote the Pope's one-liners either to advance the cause of same-s*x
marriage (something the press is very quick to do, almost always out of context and to advance
its own agenda), or to badmouth the Vicar of Christ. Based on the entirety of the Pope's
pontificate and teachings, along with Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI's ongoing and public support
of Pope Francis' teachings, until the release the documentary, it is imprudent to assume factual
the secular press' latest and umpteenth claim that Pope Francis' is promoting promiscuous same
s*x marriage unions as civil unions blessed by God. The Pope had never done this.
The Pope's words on the state (not the Church) recognizing the human dignity of all
human persons, even those that have entered into civil unions1 in order to uphold the intrinsic
dignity of the human persons whom the Church recognizes as made in God's image and likeness,
is quite distinct from the Pope endorsing as blessed by God same s*x marriages, which the
secular press has falsely stated. In point of fact, respectively in arts. 52 and 251 of Pope Francis'
recent Apostolic Exhortation Amoris Laetitia, he states,
"We need to acknowledge the great variety of family situations that can offer a certain
stability, but de facto or same-s*x unions, for example, may not simply be equated with
marriage. No union that is temporary or closed to the transmission of life can ensure the
future of society."
"In discussing the dignity and mission of the family, the Synod Fathers observed that, 'as
for proposals to place unions between homos*xual persons on the same level as marriage, there
are absolutely no grounds for considering homos*xual unions to be in any way similar or even
remotely analogous to God’s plan for marriage and family'."
Furthermore in his 2018 publication entitled, "The Strength of Vocation," Pope Francis
unequivocally affirmed that gay clergy "is a very serious issue" that "influences the life of the
church" and that "in consecrated and priestly life, there’s no room for that kind of affection.
Therefore, the church recommends that people with that kind of ingrained tendency should not be accepted into the ministry or consecrated life.”2 Pope Francis expanded on this in an
interview in December 2018, suggesting that gay priests must commit to the same standards of
celibacy as their heteros*xual counterparts.3
Considering that we are experiencing in these End Times the diabolic plan to remove the
papacy and end of the Perpetual Sacrifice, is it any wonder that the far-left secular press and the
far-right schismatic press, who openly distort and badmouth the Vicar of Christ Pope Francis,
refuse to print the above unchanging teachings of the Holy Father? My dear friends, I exhort you
to avoid such dishonest news outlets, and to do as Jesus tells you: remain loyal to the Vicar of
Christ and to all the bishops throughout the world in union with him.

Just a few pictures of the relativly NEW St. Francis Catholic Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma from the Tulsa Diocese members ride the took on Saturday October 10, 2020. It has been given the Un-official Name: "The Cimmaron Cathedral!" The portrait of the "last Supper" that is on the front of the altar is CARVED & INLAID-IN 3D. The 2 ICONS on the side are of BLESSED STANLEY ROTHER. At the back part of the Altar (with the Statues & Tabernacle) was also constructed in Italy. The windows on the side will eventually have STAINED-GLASS WITH ICONIC PICTURES that will be inserted later. The windows were built so the Stained-Glass can be set & placed directly behind the existing clear windows (& can be removed for periodic cleaning). I think you can see form the pictures this is a very beautiful church. The good news is that is has been paid for by generous contributors.
