Matthew, Mark, Luke, John…
And then there’s us.

Some say we are the 5th Gospel — the living, breathing testimony of Jesus in the earth today.

People may never open a Bible.
But they will read our lives.

They will see how we love.
How we forgive.
How we serve.
How we stand firm in truth.

We are walking evidence that Jesus is still changing hearts.

So let’s live in a way that reflects Him clearly.
Let’s love boldly.
Let’s speak life.
Let’s represent Christ well.

And if you need strength, encouragement, or a reminder of who you are in Him…

We are not called to sit — we are called to go.

This Saturday we’re stepping outside the walls and into our community. We’re praying. We’re inviting. We’re loving people where they are.

Love Sent Him

Gospel of John 3:16 shows us that love sent Jesus into a broken world.
Love didn’t keep Him safe in heaven. Love sent Him into need.

Love Obeyed

Philippians 2 says He humbled Himself and became obedient to death.
Love led Jesus to surrender His will to the Father — even when it cost Him everything.

Love Rejected Him

Gospel of John 1:11 says He came to His own, and they did not receive Him.
The very people He loved rejected Him. Love doesn’t guarantee acceptance.

Love Crucified Him

Hebrews 12:2 says He endured the cross for the joy set before Him.
Love held Him on the cross more than nails ever could.

Here’s the hard truth:
Love didn’t protect Jesus from pain.
Love positioned Him to redeem through it.

And if we follow Him, love won’t always feel soft or safe for us either. Sometimes love looks like obedience. Sometimes it looks like sacrifice. Sometimes it looks like enduring misunderstanding.

But it always looks like surrender to the Father.

That’s how love treated Jesus.
