As the semester closes, our Chi Alpha missionaries are finishing months of pouring into students and now stepping into a short break. 🎓🙏 Pray that this time is truly restful, that they hear from the Lord in fresh ways, and that they return to campus renewed for another season of ministry. Thank you for standing with those who are reaching the next generation. 💛

After First Baptist Dallas’ 134-year-old historic sanctuary was destroyed by a fire in July 2024, the church received a major boost toward rebuilding through a $7 million donation from Hobby Lobby CEO David Green.

With insurance covering about $100 million of the $127 million project, the remaining $27 million needed fundraising. The church had already raised $5 million, and after Green offered $7 million if the church matched it, a church family donated the full matching amount.

The church is now close to its fundraising goal and plans to begin construction in January 2026, aiming for completion by Easter 2028.❤
