Last Saturday, June 6th our Minister Emeritus, Johnny Vinson celebrated his 81st Birthday! We praise God for the life & legacy that he continues to shape with his presence & support of Jehovah & the ministry of our congregation.

One of the main spiritual challenges for every up & coming generation is determining if the God of previous generations is a God for today. In their own way, youth need to establish their own faith & foundation with Yeshua.

Those with tenure & experience with God know all too well this doesn't occur instantly. It's rather a gradual process that the soul must undergo.

The question arises: "What can current generations do the foster this relationship?" This is what the Penteteuch writer desired to communicate in Deuteronomy 11; to the Israelites of the text & the “New Israel” today: God's church.

While everyone's path is unique, God is very much a God of all generations! Let's explore God through the lens of the Mosaic writer.

The late & great Muhammad Ali famously quoted, “I am the greatest. I said that even before I knew I was.” This he said not in a manner of ego or boasting, but to build up his own self-confidence.

Around the squared circle, before the bell rings, a lot of promotions are produced & mental warfare is had. Ali utilized this phrase & many others to gain a mental advantage on the opponent. His philosophy was simple: If you speak something long enough, not only will you believe it, others will too.

Well before the days of Muhammad Ali, the conversation of “Who’s the Greatest?” actually occurred during the life of Jesus in Matthew 18. Then there were carnal conditions that determined “the greatest” but Jesus held an entirely different philosophy.

“Who then is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” - Matthew 18:1. What was the Messiah’s philosophy? How does this impact humanity & believers today? Tune in Sunday to find out!

With the premiere of the new biopic: "Michael", much debate & discussion has erupted around the world. Many are viewing Michael from a different vantage point, while others hold on to the stereotypes of the past.

One thing's for certain about Michael Jackson, he possessed a deep love & adoration for the innocence of children.

As we embrace a new month, our congregation shifts to our third focus of the year: YOUTHFULNESS. Join us over the next 2 months as we commence a new series titled, "Finding You in Our Youth". This series will directly engage our youth while encouraging older generations to better minister to the generation of today & the future.
