Street Project & Parking Update

Major street construction along 31st between Sheridan and Yale is set to begin in a few weeks. The city is communicating with us about our needs. When this begins, please give yourself some extra time and drive cautiously.

The major housing project to our immediate west is delayed for 6-12 months.

Legacy Plaza will be resurfacing their parking lot. This means there could be a Sunday or two where we can't park there. Please utilize the HP Ministry Center parking lot. A few cars can also park along 32nd Street and use the walkway to our lot.

We can drive slowly and park differently without complaining, right?!!!

Masood Hozhabri passed away on June 28th after suffering a stroke 2 days earlier. We will celebrate his life on Friday, July 3rd, 10am at Highland Park Christian Church, 5708 E 31st St.

Parking is available in our main lot, the HP Ministry Center, or Legacy Plaza (west of Hudson).

Dress casual, comfortable, or you can wear your favorite jersey. Masood always said he wanted a “happy” funeral.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Blackbox International (blackboxinternational.org), which provides holistic care to boy survivors of trafficking.

VBS is right around the corner! We offer VBS for ages 4 years old through kids entering sixth grade. This year we are learning all about shining a light on who Jesus is!
