Something has been happening at Urban Eden Gatherings lately…

We’ve hit a sweet spot as a community.

The conversations have been rich. People are opening up. Gifts are coming alive. There’s laughter, honesty, encouragement, different perspectives, and a genuine sense that we are connecting as family.

Our community is thriving, and we want to invite you into it.

This Friday at 6PM, we’re gathering again for our weekly Urban Eden Community Home Gathering.

We are preparing an Italian food spread. So come hungry, bring a friend, pull up a chair, and experience what’s been happening for yourself.

You don’t need to know anybody... You don’t need to believe everything we believe... You don’t need to have life figured out.

Just come as you are.

Looking for a place where you can share a meal, meet real people, and have honest conversations about life, identity, and Jesus without the pressure of a typical church setting?

We’re gathering this Friday at 6:00 PM in Tulsa.

The evening is really about making room for connection, laughter, questions, and community. You do not need to have everything figured out, know the right language, or fit into a religious box. Just come as you are and join the conversation.

What do you do when your life seems to contradict what you believe?

Have you ever looked at your life and wondered why it doesn't seem to match the promises you believe?

We believe God is with us.... We believe Christ is our peace.

We believe that all things work together for good and that we carry the life of Christ.

And then life happens.... A diagnosis... A struggling marriage... A lost job... A business fails.

Suddenly, our experience seems to be telling a completely different story than what we believe.

So which one do we trust?... Our circumstances or the reality we've come to know?

I've come to realize that one of the greatest challenges isn't simply walking through difficult seasons.

It's learning not to let those seasons redefine what is true.

Over the past several weeks I've been writing an essay about this tension because I think every one of us has wrestled with it at some point.

Our heart has always been simple: create space where people can belong, grow, ask hard questions, build meaningful relationships, and learn how to live from the life already within them.

Community matters because transformation has never been meant to happen in isolation.

This Friday, Urban Eden Community is leaving the house and heading to the pool.

One of the things we care deeply about at Urban Eden is creating spaces where people are invited to think deeply, question inherited narratives and engage life with greater awareness.

While much of our heart right now is focused on building authentic local community, that has never been the only expression of what we are building.

Over the years we have continued creating resources designed to help people explore deeper questions surrounding life, identity, the nature of God and what it means to fully engage the life we have been given.

One of the ways we do that is through the growing collection of blogs available on our website.

These writings are not simply information for information’s sake.

They exist to challenge thought, inspire reflection and help people discover perspectives that often open the door to seeing both God and themselves more clearly.

I think one of the greatest struggles people face today is not busyness, lack of resources or even lack of opportunity.

I think many people are simply starving for genuine connection.

We live in a world where people are more connected digitally than ever before, yet many people quietly carry loneliness in ways few people ever see.

Real life was never meant to be lived isolated.

There is something deeply human about sitting around a table, sharing meals, having meaningful conversations and knowing that you are surrounded by people who genuinely care about one another.

One of the things we love most about what we are building at Urban Eden is creating space for people to slow down and remember what life feels like when real community is present.

Sometimes the most powerful moments in life are not found in big events.

Sometimes they are found in simply being together.
