What does it mean to trust that God provides more than enough?

Join us this Sunday, June 21, at First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa as we gather for worship, prayer and fellowship. In traditional worship, Rev. Julia Metcalf will preach "Filled Full!" from Luke 9:10-17, reflecting on the miracle of Jesus feeding the crowd. In contemporary and international worship, Rev. Wambugu Gachungi will preach "When the By-Product Becomes the Product," exploring Luke's account of Zechariah and Elizabeth.

Throughout the summer, our congregation is following “The Story of Jesus”, a series inspired by The Jesus Storybook Bible that traces God's story of redemption through the life and ministry of Christ. Whether you're a longtime member or looking for a church home, we would love to welcome you this Sunday.

What a week at Vacation Bible School 2026!

More than 170 children, youth and volunteers gathered at Camp Loughridge for Illumination Station, a week of worship, friendship and discovering that Jesus is the Light of the World.

Highlights from the week:
• Singing songs of praise and energetic opening ceremonies
• Learning Scripture, memory verses and daily theological truths
• Enjoying God's creation at Camp Loughridge
• Asking thoughtful questions and growing in faith
• Building friendships with children, leaders and Hi Helpers

Daily lessons:
• Day 1: Jesus is God's promised Son
• Day 2: Jesus is God's perfect Son
• Day 3: Jesus is the powerful Son of God
• Day 4: Jesus is the proven Son of God
• Day 5: Jesus is God's plan for forgiveness

This year also marked the first VBS participation by Oasis Ministry, helping make VBS fully inclusive for children with special needs. Parents shared their joy, saying they never thought their children would be able to attend VBS, but this year they did. We give thanks that more children and families were able to fully experience the love of Christ through this ministry.

A special thank you to our Hi Helpers, whose leadership, enthusiasm and servant hearts made a lasting impact throughout the week. The children looked up to these high school students, and we are grateful for the example they set as followers of Christ.

Our theme verse was John 8:12:
"I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life."

These young people are not just the future of the Church. They are part of the Church today.

What a week at First Presbyterian Church’s VBS 2026: Illumination Station!

More than 170 children, youth, and volunteers gathered at Camp Loughridge to worship, learn, build friendships, and discover that Jesus is the Light of the World. Through songs, Scripture, games, and thoughtful conversations, children grew in their understanding of who Jesus is and what he has done for us.

This year also marked the first participation of Oasis Ministry, helping make VBS more inclusive for children with special needs and allowing more families to experience the love of Christ together.

Thank you to our volunteers, leaders, Hi Helpers, and families who made this incredible week possible. To God be the glory!

This Sunday, June 7, at First Presbyterian Church of Tulsa, we continue our summer sermon series, The Story of Jesus, reflecting on the beloved stories of Jesus as told in The Jesus Storybook Bible, focusing on the life and ministry of Christ through the stories that reveal His love, power and purpose.

This Sunday is also VBS Sunday. During the 11 a.m. Sanctuary worship service, our VBS children will share songs, Scripture and stories from a week of growing in Christ.

This Sunday also marks the 17th anniversary of Tulsa International Fellowship. We give thanks for God's faithfulness and the lives touched through this ministry. A fellowship lunch will follow TIF worship in Great Hall.
