BETTER TOGETHER.

Today’s message from Pastor J, “When God Sends the Right People,” reminded us that everybody around you isn’t assigned to you.

The right people will cover you, challenge you, speak up for you, celebrate you, and protect your future. They won’t compete with what God is doing in your life. They’ll make room for it.

Jonathan had every reason to see David as competition, but instead, he chose connection over competition. He protected David even when it was uncomfortable, stood up for him when it cost him, and made room for David’s future.

That’s what a Godly friendship looks like.

The right people won’t be threatened by what God has for you. They’ll help you become all God called you to be.

And sometimes the blessing isn’t just what God is sending you.
It’s WHO God is sending you.

“You cannot assassinate the anointing.”

Today we celebrated the first Sunday of our 104th Church Anniversary as Pastor started our BETTER TOGETHER series with “When God Sends the Right People.”

Connection over competition. Covering through uncomfortable seasons. A safe space. People who care about your future. 🙌🏾

We’re grateful for 104 years of faith, family and community — and we’re just getting started! 💜
