Rejoice with us for the baptism of our new brother Nancer! Pray for him as he plans to take the gospel back to his home and family and to establish a new congregation.

"Then God said, 'Let there be light,' and there was light" (Genesis 1:3).

"For God who said, 'Let light shine out of darkness,' has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ" (2 Corinthians 4:6).

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth" (Genesis 1:1)

"The heavens were made by the word of the LORD, and all the stars, by the breath of His mouth" (Psalm 33:6).

"He made the heavens skillfully. His love is eternal" (Psalm 136:5).

"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were created through Him, and apart from Him not one thing was created that has been created" (John 1:1-3).

"The living God... made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and everything in them" (Acts 14:15).

"The God who made the world and everything in it —He is Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in shrines made by hands" (Acts 17:24).

"For everything was created by Him, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and by Him all things hold together" (Colossians 1:16-17).

"By faith we understand that the universe was created by God’s command, so that what is seen has been made from things that are not visible." (Hebrews 11:3).

Thoughts for those who would be elders and deacons...

An elder is a shepherd. One who would be an elder must cultivate a habit of watching out for those who are more vulnerable among the body of Christ. A shepherd does not need to be told when a sheep has wandered - he is always counting and checking.

A deacon is a servant. His purpose is to assist others in accomplishing their duties. He must be willing and even eager to take tasks that bring little or no recognition on a large scale, but which, without his assistance, might sideline the progress of the body of Christ as a whole. One who would be a deacon must cultivate a habit of helping and asking those who are engaged in other works if there is anything they need.

Work on making yourself the right kind of person for these works. Learn to look out for the interests of others and learn to find fulfillment in helping others do these jobs. In both of these qualities one will find the true Spirit of Christ.

We began to meet this February with only three members. We have lots of work to do and many to reach in our community, but the Mwichifel Kraist is growing in spirit and number. Thanks for your prayers!

Hey everyone, Shahe and I are about to wrap up Season 1 of "The Search" as we complete our survey of the Torah. We're planning to have a Question and Response episode if we have enough inquiries from our audience. If you have any questions about the five books of Moses, please email them to [email protected].
