In Luke 5, the power of the Lord was present to heal them, yet we don’t see the multitude receiving healing.

Then in Luke 6, they all got healed.

What changed? God didn’t change. The people did.

In Luke 6, the multitude came “to hear Him, and to be healed.” They came to hear first. And after they heard, they reached out to touch Him, “for there went virtue out of Him, and healed them all.”

The power was present in both chapters. The difference was in the hearing.

Who were the ones who got healed? The ones who heard.

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Get in the Word. Hear what God has said. Let faith come, and receive what His power has already made available!

Look to God for your miracle. Take a stand on His Word.

Find out what the Bible says about your healing. Read it. Study it. Get it down on the inside of you.

But the catalyst comes when you begin to SPEAK it.

Faith isn’t meant to stay silent. There comes a point when what you believe in your heart has to come out of your mouth.

Speak the Word over your body. Speak healing. Speak life. Speak what God has said, even when what you see or feel says something different.

“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” — Romans 10:10

Believe it. Speak it. Stand on it. Don’t let go.

Everybody was touching Jesus—but only one person touched Him with faith.

When the woman with the issue of blood touched Jesus, He stopped and said, “Who touched Me?”

The disciples were confused. The crowd was pressing in from every direction. Everybody was touching Him.

But Jesus said, “Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.” (Luke 8:46)

Power had gone out of Him.

But notice what Jesus told the woman:

“Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole.” (Mark 5:34)

The power came from Jesus.
The faith came from her.

She didn’t create the power, she received what His power had already made available!

Everybody else touched Jesus physically. She touched Him with faith.

His power provides. Faith receives.

Miracles are signs to the unbeliever.

They are a demonstration that God is real, God is good, and God loves people.

The supernatural was never meant to be something we only read about in the Bible. God still wants to reveal Himself through His people today.

“The people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” Daniel 11:32

When we know our God, we begin to expect Him to move. We pray differently. We believe differently. We step out differently!

The world doesn’t just need to hear us talk about God. They need to see the evidence of a living God.

Signs. Wonders. Miracles. Lives changed.

Let’s be a generation that knows our God and does exploits. 🔥
