You Were Set Apart

You were set apart.
Not forgotten.
Not overlooked.
Not ordinary.

God chose you.

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.”
Jeremiah 1:5 NIV

Being set apart doesn’t mean your life will always be easy. Sometimes it means you’ll walk a path others don’t understand. Sometimes God will ask you to say no when everyone else is saying yes.

But don’t mistake being set apart for being left out.

You aren’t being left out. You’re being called out.

Called out to live differently.
Called out to love differently.
Called out to shine His light.

You don’t have to compare your journey to anyone else’s. God isn’t asking you to become someone else. He is calling you to become everything He created YOU to be.

So, Beautiful YOU, lift your head.

You are chosen.
You are called.
You belong to Him.

And when God calls you somewhere unfamiliar, remember this:

The One who called you is already there.

You were set apart.

And there is purpose in the calling. ❤️

Love Is What Matters Most ❤️

We can have knowledge.
We can have faith.
We can serve.
We can give.
We can even do incredible things for God.

But Scripture tells us that none of it means what we think it means if we don’t have love.

God isn’t just looking at what we do. He cares about what is happening in our hearts while we do it.

We can speak the right words, serve in the right places, know Scripture, and even sacrifice for others—but if love is missing, we’ve missed the heart of it all.

Love isn’t weakness.
Love isn’t simply being nice.
Love is choosing to see people the way Jesus sees them.

So today, before we ask, “What can I do for God?” maybe we should ask, “Am I doing it with love?”

Because at the end of the day, love isn’t just one of the things God asks of us.

Love is what makes everything else matter. ❤️

There Is a Praise That Won’t Wait

There is a kind of praise that refuses to wait for the situation to change.

Paul and Silas sang while they were still in prison. The chains were still fastened. The darkness was still around them. Nothing had changed yet.
But they praised anyway.

They didn’t praise because the prison doors were open.
They praised because God was still God with the doors closed.
I want that kind of faith.

The kind that says, “God, I will praise You before the answer comes. Before the relationship is restored. Before the health concern is resolved. Before I know which way to go.”

Sometimes we spend so much time waiting for God to change our circumstances that we forget to praise Him in the middle of them.

But think about everything He has already carried you through. The prayers He has already answered. The times you didn’t know how you were going to make it, but somehow… you did.
So today, don’t wait for everything to change before you let gratitude rise.

Praise Him in the waiting.
Praise Him in the uncertainty.
Praise Him while the doors are still closed.
Because your circumstances may not have changed yet…

But God has not changed.
And He is still worthy of your praise. ❤️

God Is Still Good ❤️

One of the hardest questions we can ask is, “Why do good people suffer?”

Why do people who love God experience disease, heartbreak, loss, and disappointment? Honestly, I don’t have an answer for every “why.” I don’t understand why some prayers are answered quickly while others seem to go unanswered.

But I do know this:

God is good.

Every good and perfect gift comes from Him. We live in a fallen world, and sometimes life hurts in ways we cannot explain. But our circumstances never change the character of God.

And when I think about what we truly don’t deserve, I am reminded of the greatest gift of all.

We didn’t deserve salvation.
We didn’t deserve the cross.
We didn’t deserve Jesus giving His life for us.

Yet He did.

So when I don’t understand the “why,” I will hold onto the “Who.”

I may not understand everything God is doing, but He does. He sees what I cannot see, knows what I cannot know, and understands what I cannot understand.

When I can’t see His hand, I can still trust His heart. ❤️

Storms Come and Go

There will be seasons when life feels calm and beautiful, and there will be seasons when the winds seem to blow harder than we ever expected. But storms have a beginning, and storms have an end. They do not get the final word.

The beautiful thing is that we never have to face the storm alone. Jesus is still with us in the boat. Even when He seems quiet, He is present, and He is still Lord over the wind and the waves.
So if you are walking through a storm today, hold on. Keep trusting. Keep breathing. Keep believing. The storm will pass, but God’s faithfulness will remain. ❤️

Today Is a Gift—Make It Beautiful! 🌸

What if today is not just another day, but another opportunity to see God’s goodness?

We may not be able to control everything happening around us, but we can choose how we walk through it. We can choose gratitude when life feels heavy, hope when we can’t see the way forward, and joy because our circumstances never change who God is.

So take a deep breath, lift your head, and remember: God is faithful, you are deeply loved, and there is still so much good ahead. Today is a gift—so let’s make it a beautiful one! ❤️

Give Yourself Grace

Sometimes the hardest person to love is ourselves.

We can give grace to everyone around us. We understand their mistakes, their struggles, and their bad days. But when it comes to ourselves, we can be our own harshest critic.

God calls us to love—and that includes learning to love the woman He created us to be. Not pride. Not conceit. Not putting ourselves above others. But recognizing that we are deeply loved by God and learning to see ourselves through His eyes.

Jesus said, “Love your neighbor as yourself.” There is room for healthy, God-honoring love for ourselves. When we learn to accept God’s grace for ourselves, it becomes easier to extend that same grace and love to the people around us.

So today, take a moment to thank God for the woman He created you to be. Give yourself some grace. Speak kindly to yourself. And remember—you are worth loving, too. ❤️

Thankfulness Changes Everything

Life isn’t always easy. Sometimes the storms feel so overwhelming that it’s hard to find even one thing to be thankful for.

But even in the darkest seasons, God is still faithful. If we’ll slow down for just a moment, we’ll discover that His fingerprints are everywhere—in a sunrise, a kind word, the love of a friend, His peace, His promises, and His unfailing presence.

Today, take a deep breath… and find just one thing to thank God for.

And if your name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life, then no matter what you’re facing today, you already have the greatest reason of all to be thankful.

“Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV)
