Many of you have accompanied us on an Israel tour where Jonathan Bar David was our guide. We have known him for many years and he has become like family to us. We recently visited him in their home while we were in Israel recently. I wanted to share a picture of Jonathon, Damaris and their 6 beautiful children.

We visited yesterday the bombed home of the Bibas home. Such an example of the cruelty and massacre of innocent lives on October 7 in the Kibbutz of Nir Oz.

I will never forget these images of the Kibbutz Nir Oz that was bombed on October 7. These innocent people did nothing to merit what happened to them early that morning. They had no weapons and no bombs to defend themselves. They only had their safe rooms which their enemy bombed and shot through windows and doors to kill or kidnap them.

We pledge our 100% support to Israel unequivocally and unashamedly. At the same time we also pray for the Palestinian people who suffer at the hands of Hamas. Our Lord died for all of mankind. While I believe the evil of Hamas must be eradicated, whatever it takes, I pray for all of the innocent people involved. Many of the soldiers we have been involved with in Israel are wonderful Arab men who fight against evil. May we pray for all of them, and pray that this evil spirit be stopped.

Some have been texting and calling. We are in the States right now. We were just in Israel 3 weeks ago were on the base that was attacked. The commander there is our friend. Jim has been on the phone most of the day with friends in Israel. One way we can stand with Israel is to pray. We have been coordinating with our people in Israel today on getting aid to people affected and to help the soldiers. Over 100,000 Reservists have been called from their home to quickly get to the battlefronts. Many have arrived without basic necessities like toiletries, underwear, etc.

We received these specific prayer requests from those in Israel:

1. Their sons and daughters who have been drafted in the army.
2. Israel Defense Army so that God would give them favor and success in this war.
3. Secular authorities of Israel - so that God provide them with wisdom to make all the tough decisions.
4. For Israel people to repent before the Lord and thus get saved.

Happy Mother’s Day to an amazing mom and friend! Yulia Nikishenko is a great Mom who has endured all the difficulties of the war in Ukraine, all while protecting her own family, making sure the business of Awaking Hope is being taken care of, arranging for the needs of the children of House of Joy and keeping in touch with churches and relaying their needs to us so we can minister to their needs. ❤️
