But Isaiah 40 offers a different promise: God gives strength to those who wait on Him. This week, we’ll discover how to trust God’s character, acknowledge our dependence, and keep taking the next faithful step—even when the answer has not yet come.

We’ve all heard sayings that sound biblical—but are they actually true? In our new series, The Bible Doesn’t Say That, we’ll examine familiar phrases and discover what Scripture really teaches. This week, we begin with “God helps those who help themselves.” The Bible offers something far better than self-sufficiency: God’s grace meets us in our helplessness and enables us to live in active dependence on him.

Tulsa Central Kids Highlight! 🌎❤️

Once a month, our kids participate in a Missions Night on Wednesday nights, where we “travel” to a new country and learn about how God is working through His people in places that may look different from our own. We then take what we’ve learned and talk about how we can live out God’s mission right here in our own neighborhoods and schools!

This month, we learned that talking about Jesus isn’t something we only do at church, it can happen ANYWHERE, even at a coffee shop! Sometimes the best way to meet people, share God’s love, and build community is simply to create a place for people to gather and connect.

These kids are curious, compassionate, and have such huge hearts. We are so excited to see how God continues to use them to share His love wherever He has placed them!
