Dear friends….
If you ask me what are you most thankful for,
I will answer “the Salvation I have in Christ and the Family that God has given me.”
My heart is overwhelmed with thankfulness to God and His Faithfulness.
As a sinful human made with flesh and blood, I do worry about uncertainty in life. My mind is constantly filled with worries and fears of death and tragedy because we “know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.” (James 4:14)
How am I living my life? How am I spending the time that I have on this earth? becomes a constant reminder that runs through my mind all day long.
With many imperfections, I have come to the realization of my own sins. I have done uncountable sinful actions and deeds towards God and to His precious people. Of course, I do regret and I could not forgive myself for those sinful behaviors and actions. I found myself so miserable. Then I remember there is
Yet…
ONE who bears all my sins upon Himself. He is none other than the LORD “Jesus Christ.” The Bible says, “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” (1 Peter 2:24)
Then I realized God’s Mercy and His Sacrificial Love. The irresistible tears of joy brought me to my knees for repentance and His acceptance. From thence, my HOPE solely stands on Christ and His Word. My Re-REASSURANCE in Christ was re-found. I can now fully and wholly say, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
Truly, I am saved only by His Grace and Mercy alone. Although I totally deserve the wrath of God in the lake of fire yet God gave me HOPE in His Son Jesus Christ. That is why my thankfulness is beyond words.
Not only has God granted me eternal life through Christ, but also He has given me a family that I have been praying and desiring for which is a Christ-honored family. Now that I have a son with my loving husband, I understand more about sacrificial love, God’s Love.
So dear friends,
how can I be silent and not share this wonderful truth of God? I cannot be silent and not share that there is HOPE in Christ. “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.“ (John 3:16-17)
Do not let sin control your life and be miserable, my dear friends because “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23)
I pray that you find HOPE in CHRIST for it will change your life and open your eyes to see so many wonderful truths. Most importantly, you will be saved into His Kingdom eternally.
With Love in Christ,
