OBC Kids Wednesday is tonight! 💙

It’s more than just a fun night—it’s an opportunity for our kids to grow in God’s Word, build friendships, and learn more about following Jesus.

We’d love to have your kids join us tonight!

This week we will learn about Moses protesting to God that he couldn’t speak well and God sending his brother Aaron to act as spokesman. They were to go to Pharaoh telling him to let God’s people Israel go, but Pharaoh wasn’t going to listen. God would then work signs and wonders in Egypt so the Egyptians and the Israelites would believe in Him.

MEMORY VERSE:
Moses and Aaron did exactly as the Lord had commanded them.– Exodus 7:6

At Kids Blitz, we dive into the Bible, learn about Jesus, and grow in our faith—while having a blast! Each week is filled with exciting games, engaging lessons, and opportunities to earn Bible Bucks that can be spent at our special shopping nights!

Reminder: No Children's Church-August 30th

Children's Church is not held on the 5th Sunday of any month. When a month has five Sundays, children join their families in the worship service. This is a great opportunity to introduce your children to worshiping with you. We do have activity bags available by each door leading into the sanctuary.

This Sunday is Promotion Sunday for our Preschool and Children's Departments!

Our kids are growing up surrounded by so many messages. Let's encourage one another as we learn practical ways to help them recognize truth and develop biblical discernment through everyday conversations, media, and God's Word.

We'll be using Mama Bear Apologetics: Empowering Your Kids to Challenge Cultural Lies as the book for our study and discussions. Our first class will cover Chapter 3: The Discerning Mama Bear and Chapter 4: Linguistic Theft. Please read these chapters before class so you'll be ready for our discussion. We look forward to studying together!

"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength... Impress these commandments on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up." (Deuteronomy 6:4–7)

Children have no problem separating their food when they're picky eaters. Culture is different. Many aspects cannot be picked apart like food. We have to train our children to be discerning about what they feed their minds.
