Student “Flight School”’starts this Sunday night at 5pm in the student room. Our first week will focus on absorbing scripture and will be lead by Jesse Johnston. Flight school/Summer t-shirts are available for $10.

This week begins our High School girls small group! We will meet the 2nd and 4th Monday each month at Laura’s house. A light meal will be provided. Girls should bring their bible (preferably not electronic), a notebook, and pen.

Coming after falls creek- Manon Mowery will be leading a Middle School girls bible study Tuesday’s from 4-5pm! More details to come.

Our sweet friend and classmate, Wendi Pierce is having surgery on Tuesday. Please use the link below if you would like to provide a meal for the Pierce family.

To know Wendi is to love her! What a blessing she and her sweet family are to us. She has touched so many of our lives in ways she may never know. COMING THIS SUNDAY!
We are pleased to announce that we will be offering a Parent Discipleship Class on Sunday evenings beginning January 8th from 6-7:30 PM in room C249.

One of the biggest reasons that “Christian” students leave the faith after a semester in college is that they have not had their questions answered and they have not been taught to ask better questions themselves. This class will help adults learn the Christian faith is based on the truth of verifiable evidence and be able to say with great conviction, “I am a Christian because it’s true.” This class will teach you, as parents to answer questions in order to ask questions.

This class covers:
The Christian Worldview- answers to the “big questions” about God, the universe, human beings, truth and morality.
Competing Worldviews- compares and contrasts the key tenets of Christianity to Islam, naturalism, and new spirituality.
Christianity in Action- helps parents/students understand the how they can live out their Christian worldview in a post-Christian culture.
Biblical Theology- helps the parent/student understand the entire story of the Bible and its major themes within the framework of creation, fall, redemption and restoration.

The curriculum includes:
Biblical Worldview
Apologetics
Real-life application

This class is open to any adult/parent/grandparent of any age child/student.

The Student Ministry will be offering FORWARD for 7-12th grade students during this same time. Students will begin in the student room for worship at 6:00 PM followed by a discipleship class from 6:30-7:30 PM and fellowship back in the student room the last 30 minutes.

We hope you and your student will join us for discipleship on Sunday evenings!

Sunday evening is our Student Family night at Pumpkin Town! Meet us there for hot dogs and s'mores cooked over an open fire, along with activities for the entire family. Mention South Tulsa Students at the gate to receive the discounted entrance rate of $10 per person. This is a fun night for the entire family and we hope to see you there!

Wednesday night is the Student Costume party! We will have pizza, tons of candy, prizes for best costumes, and Karaoke! This is one of our student's favorite outreach nights! Encourage your student to come and bring a friend.

We would love to have your student participate in Forward- Fellowship, Worship and Discipleship on Sunday nights! We have three discipleship classes to choose from. Encourage your student to come and connect deeper with God and with their peers on Sunday nights.

Do you love to take pictures? Our South Tulsa Photography team is currently seeking individuals who enjoy taking photos to serve on our church photography team. Photographers serve on a rotating basis about once every two months on Sundays. They are also encouraged to take a few photos when involved in events and place them in a shared folder on Dropbox. We are gearing up for the Arts & Crafts Expo on Saturday, November 5. We need your help with the basket auction! Our Parents of Students class will create and donate a themed basket for the show. Baskets (with list of items included) are due to the Church office by Wednesday, November 2. The auction will be online on Saturday during the Expo. Money raised will go directly to local and international missions supported by South Tulsa. This is one of our biggest fundraisers for Guatemala Missions! Please let us know if you'd like to coordinate or donate to the basket.
