was started in 1955 by National Cemetery Corporation. In 1959, this business was purchased by Leighton Keele and wife Johnnie H. Parks. Before purchasing the business, Leighton and Charles worked as cemetery property salesmen. Leighton Keele passed away in 1993, Charles E. Parks in 2006, Johnnie H. Keele in 2010, and Vera Parks in 2017. Their families continue to own and operate Rose Hill, and tak
e pride in offering a beautiful and respectful final resting place for many Coffee County families. In addition to ground burial spaces, Rose Hill has two mausoleums with crypts for the entombment of caskets and niches for placement of cremated remains. Rose Hill allows only flat bronze markers with granite for memorialization in the Gardens of Christus, Devotion, Gethsemane, Good Shepherd, Last Supper, and Prayer. The Garden of Faith is our newest garden and features upright granite monument, sometimes referred to as a "headstone", "tombstone", or a "rock". Lots in this garden are sold in combination with a monument as a package. The most recent additions to the garden are three columbaria for interment of cremations, each of which feature black panels that will be etched with the occupants memorialization. As you browse the photo section of this page, you will see that we offer for sale in our office beautiful flower arrangements, solar crosses and angels, and American flags that will fit in the vase. Our prices for bronze memorials are reasonable and competitive with other sellers. Lot owners and families may choose to purchase their bronze marker wherever they like, however Rose Hill staff must be paid to install markers purchased elsewhere, perpetual care must be paid to Rose Hill, and Rose Hill is not responsible for vases stolen from markers purchased elsewhere. Our caring, professional office staff will gladly assist you with purchasing a memorial for yourself or a loved one. Thank you for allowing us to serve you; we consider it a privilege.
