On this World Refugee Day, we recognize the need to build a safe and equitable society, where refugees, asylum seekers, and people of all races and nationalities are welcome. One of the ways that our congregation is working to improve the lives of refugees is through our support of mission co-workers, who are serving in Lille, France with the International Association For Refugees.

Volunteers are needed for the church rummage sale. Opportunities are available both before the sale as well as the day of the sale. Can't volunteer but have small boxes? The church needs those as well.

13 youth and 3 adults returned today from a week at Montreat Youth Conference. We were able to experience the outdoors in its many forms; spend time with new and old friends alike (including a lunchtime visit with Pastor Stephen!); and participate in daily keynote, worship, and small groups. Participants leave Montreat filled with the Holy Spirit and the reminder that we are all beloved children of God.

Kingdom Kids had their first summer activities today. Our younger elementary kids started working on kindness rocks that we will put out on our hike in a couple months, while the older kids worked on ceiling tile paintings. Both groups had a great time, unfortunately I was so busy helping the kids I forgot to take pictures while they were working on their ceiling tiles. But I do have some of what they got done today. We will be going back in with outlines and touch ups in a few weeks.

Recognize that symbol? For many years, including this one, we have willingly allowed the use of our Williams Family Center for the distribution of the Letter Carriers' Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Tullahoma helped to stamp out hunger this month as citizens donated nearly 3,100 pounds of food to local pantries for the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive.

Well folks that's a wrap on Kingdom Kids for the year! We ended the 25/26 school year with our annual end of the year bash. Pizza, fellowship and lots of water. These kids always have a great time. Thank you to all the adult and teen volunteers.

Today was our first Children's Sunday. We are incredibly proud of our Kingdom Kids who participated in presenting the entire worship service today. They did great! Thank you to our volunteers that helped pull off this service, the wonderful congratulations that supports us, and all the amazing food and fellowship shared at the pot luck that followed.

Congratulations to our seniors, Cole, Zak, Jonas, Tommy, and Austin (not pictured), as they graduate from high school. We pray that as they embark on the next steps of their journey, they are filled with courage to face new challenges, wisdom to make sound decisions, and peace to trust in God's plan.
