Green, yellow, red flags can be helpful, but they shouldn't be your only guide. The real question for dating and marriage isn't if someone is perfect, but are they becoming more like Christ? Focus on humility, honesty, kindness, self-control, faithfulness, forgiveness, and a teachable spirit. True character is revealed over time and with shared faith, mission, and values—not just physical attraction.

Before asking if someone is God's person for you, consider a deeper question: 'Am I becoming God's person for someone else?' God prioritizes shaping your character over finding a spouse. Trust that He will guide your path, including your marriage, as you seek His kingdom first.

Instead of trying to do more, ask yourself: Who is one person in my life I can love, pray for, or reach out to? Who is lonely and needs encouragement, friendship, or prayer? You might be surprised who's sitting right next to you.
