EH MA HO!

On this Saturday, November 09, 2024, beginning at 12pm to 4:30pm, we will be holding the following event:

TheTantric Ritual Ceremony and Chenrezig Practice for Lama Jinpa Tharchin's 49th Day in the Bardo, and Rebirth Celebration.

We apologize that this is being sent out to everyone at this late date.

Our Spiritual Director, Lama Lodu Rinpoche, has asked us to send this out to all, and especially to those who have had the precious opportunity of knowing our precious Dharma teacher, Lama Tharchin Jinpa. He was a resident Lama here at the Bodhisattva Institute for a time in the early 2000's. He passed away in September, 2024.

If it is possible that you are able to come, please call by this Thursday, November 7th, as we will have tea and snacks for everyone.

Dear Sangha and Friends of the Bodhisattva Institute,

We are so happy to announce that Venerable Lama Lodu Rinpoche will be staying and teaching at The Bodhisattva Institute March 1 -10. Details are being worked out. Below is the schedule. We hope that you can attend any or all of the sessions.

March 2 -3

Teaching to be announced

10 AM - Noon & 2 - 4 PM each day, Saturday and Sunday

March 4 - 8

Practice with Ven. Lama Lodu Rinpoche and Question/Answer

7:00 - 9:00 PM Monday thru Friday

March 9 - 10

10 AM - Noon & 2 - 4 PM each day, Saturday and Sunday

Suggested donation to assist in covering the expenses is $20 per session.

Ven. Lama Lodu Rinpoche will be available for personal interviews to answer questions about your practice and receive guidance on any subject you wish to talk about personally. Please call to arrange an appointment with either:

The Bodhisattva Institute previously announced Ven. Lama Lodu Rinpoche's 2023 Summer Teaching Tour visit to Tucson.

Because of Rinpoche's invitation to the North American Kagyu Monlam and the overlapping dates, we'll have to push the Bodhisattva Institute's schedule by three weeks.

Here is the new schedule:

Sept. 29, 2023

Public Teaching:

"Introduction to the Buddhist Path: Teachings on Basic Buddhism, Compassion, Loving Kindness and Devotion".

7:00 - 9:00 PM

Sept. 30th – Oct. 1

Vajrasattva Initiation and Teaching

10 AM - Noon & 2 - 4 PM each day, Saturday and Sunday

We apologize to the change in dates and hope that everyone who has planned to attend can still attend. He will be in Tucson two extra days which is a great blessing as he wanted to spend more time here with our sangha.

Lama Lodu Rinpoche will return to Tucson for ten days, November 5 thru 13th. It has been almost three years because of COVID. During that time the center has maintained live Chenrezig pujas and a zoom Medicine Buddha practice.
He will teach on Prajanparamita the first weekend. During the week he will lead practice and meditation and after that have a question and answer session. The second weekend he will offer an empowerment, yet to be determined. If you have a suggestion, please let us know on this page. Check out the website for the latest information.
