Church Without Walls is a network of house churches based out of Spokane, Washington. Our vision is to share the hope of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ with those who are without hope in this world. We believe the best way for us to accomplish this purpose is to plant house churches in every place the Lord enables us to go. Rather than invest so much of our time and resources in building
and maintaining church facilities, we have chosen to keep this ministry as basic as possible. We are convinced that a house church network is the best way for us to do our part in helping to accomplish what is commonly referred to as the great commission. It should also be pointed out that Church Without Walls is completely non-sectarian to any other Christian ministry. In other words we are pleased to work with other churches and ministries in the area as long as our efforts center on glorifying Jesus, winning souls, and making disciples. Of course our main focus will be on establishing a network of house churches in various areas of the country and the world, Lord willing. HOW ARE HOUSE CHURCHES DIFFERENT THAN "LIFE" GROUPS? When we use the term house church we are referring to something more than a bible study, care group or life group. For all practical purposes we are talking about a viable church within a house that is under the pastoral oversight of Church Without Walls. Our goal is to train and equip house pastors who are truly called to the pastoral ministry in same way you might expect a pastor of a larger church to be. Each house pastor will be trained and equipped by Church Without Walls leadership before being set in to oversee a house church. They will also be in weekly contact with other house pastors and overseers. Of course training and equipping house pastors is not an overnight process so each new house church may begin with a host who is willing to open their home for weekly Church Without Walls meetings. Someone who is directly accountable to the leadership of CWW will lead the meetings until the Lord raises up a local house church pastor to oversee that work on a more permanent basis.
